Attorney Cengiz Cankat Özkaya completed his primary education at Private Fethiye Primary School and his secondary education at Mehmet Erdoğan Anatolian High School. He graduated from the Faculty of Law at Özyeğin University.

He completed the first phase of his mandatory legal internship, the courthouse internship, at the Muğla Bar Association Fethiye Courthouse. The second phase of his internship, conducted within a law firm, was carried out at Saçaklıoğlu Law Office under the supervision of Attorney Togan Han Saçaklıoğlu and within the Legal Department of the Ar Grup Companies Group.

Throughout his internship and professional practice, he gained practical experience primarily in Commercial Law, Corporate Law, Enforcement and Bankruptcy Law, Property Law, and Maritime Trade Law. He has taken an active role particularly in commercial disputes, corporate legal consultancy, and enforcement proceedings.

In order to support his academic and professional development at an international level, he attended an eight-month foreign language program at the University of Florida in the United States.

Attorney Cengiz Cankat Özkaya continues his professional activities at Özkaya Law & Consultancy, primarily in Commercial Law, Corporate Law, Criminal Law, Enforcement and Bankruptcy Law, Property Law, and Maritime Trade Law.
